Bigos (Hunter’s Stew with Mashed Potatoes): Family Style
This isn’t your typical ‘stew’. A hardy mix of savory beef, pork, and kielbasa with sautéed sauerkraut and fresh cabbage. Served with a side of dill mashed potatoes. Feeds four to six people.

ground beef, minced pork, smoked kielbasa, sauerkraut, cabbage, tomato paste, vegetable oil, bay leaf, onions, parsley, salt, pepper, seasonings

For best quality, thaw under refrigeration overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350º.
Bake, covered, for 45 minutes–1 hour. Stir halfway through. Remove lid and continue to back for 5-10 minutes or until inside reaches 165°. Stir halfway through cook time.
For safety we recommend all products are reheated to an internal temperature of 165º.
